Take the online test as many times as you need for the one test fee. Most of our tests are delivered online only to allow for equitable access for test candidates.

If you need to use another form of payment, you must return to a transport and motoring customer service centre on a weekday during opening hours to get your licence. If you pass a driving test on a Saturday, you can pay with EFTPOS and get your licence on the day. You must make your booking at least one week before your test date. If you are over 25 you don’t need to complete a learner logbook before booking your test. Once you pass the DKT you can apply for your learner driver licence. You can now complete the DKT at home or wherever you can get online. Where there is high local demand, we offer in-person Certified Provisional Interpreter tests as an alternative option. All online tests are scheduled and listed in Sydney/Melbourne time (AET), you should ensure you check how your time zone aligns with the time listed.

If you pass, you will receive the Credentialed Community Language credential letter. You should read the test rules and policies in the CCL Test Candidate Instructions here. This means that each test begins with 90 marks, and marks are taken off if the candidate makes errors during their test.
